West Portal Counseling has been providing integrated, mental health services to the Bay Area since 1975.
Our clients benefit from our integrated approach, once only available at hospitals and training facilities. We combine the unique training and experiences of psychology, psychiatry, social work and counseling under one roof.
Our professional services include such specialties as sandplay therapy, expressive arts therapy, psychiatric medications, family therapy, career consultations, Jungian analytic psychotherapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. These specialties are tailored to the special needs of children and adolescents as well as adults, couples and families.
We work directly with schools and employee assistance programs when appropriate for a client. Many of our counselors are teachers and consultants at local institutes and campuses for the next generation of mental health professionals.
